MySpace Community Has Good Taste (Apparently)

Mister Jackson's Van: Montreal, Canada; Mister Jackson’s Van was founded in 2007 by a bunch of fools who wanted to play cool, vibey music that said next to nothing about anything while also promoting a love for the outdoors, the mountains, and winter. That being said, they did next to nothing for the next three years while they were working on various university degrees and skiing, or something like that. That brings us to 2010, when MJV got its shit together, started writing, gigging, and working it out. Creators of Eastern Mountain Music, MJV is a band that focuses on simplicity and fun at the same time maintaining some sort of vibe that gets you stoked. With the return of Surfer music in the West of North America, MJV figured it was time for the East to strike back. Sure, surfing isn't as big out here (even though there is some cool surf to be had), the rolling 'mountains' of North America's East (From New England to the Carolinas and from southern Ontario to Eastern Newfoundland) offer everything anyone needs. Plus, there's a culture all it's own over here that is every bit as cool as the surf-styles of the West Coast. That's the underlining motivation for MJV.
