Wanted: 1 Montreal-er Folk/Rock Musician

We are a 4-piece (vocals, drums, and 2 guitars) folk-alternative rock band looking for a dedicated and stylistically versatile female bassist to hold down the low end in our songs and live performances. We would also like for you to be able to play more than just the bass as some members in the band like to 'switch it up' sometimes by playing the bass themselves.

Although we don't have any particular preference over any of the other instruments you may play, we would still require for you to be able to play guitar and/or keyboards when one of the other members decides to pick up the bass.

As far as other instruments are concerned, we're anxious to see (and hear) what you'll be bringing to the table in addition to your basslines and backing vocals/vocal harmonies.

We won't tell you what to do nor will we tell you how to do it. What we will do - however - is encourage you to contribute to our current and future songs by pushing your creativity to its limits provided it all fits in with our little sonic amalgamation of our various influences. That said, it is understood that you are the type of musician that DOES NOT consider themself an amateur/beginner.

Some of our influences include (in no particular order):

- Bob Dylan
- The Beach Boys
- Smashing Pumpkins
- Johnny Cash
- The Beatles
- The Smiths
- Put all these ingredients in the grungiest blender you can find with an added sprinkle of reggae and you're ready for an audition!

If you're still reading, it probably means you're interested. Should that be the case simply send us an email stating the instruments you play along with your contact info and a little about yourself. In turn, we'll reply back with more details and answers to any questions you may have.
