Mister Jackson's Van (MJV) was formed in 2007 by two brothers, both students at Concordia University - one a drummer and one a guitarist. Before the year was out a vocalist was added, also a Concordia student. After taking some time off to work on their degrees, Josh (vocals) and Chris (guitar) reformed in 2010, adding Mark (lead guitar) to the lineup, bringing an entirely new dimension to the MJV sound (sort of a trope, yeah, only here it's true and meant) for the sake of  playing some shows. In winter 2011 Ryan joined on as drummer, and the MJV thing ... well it got ridiculous. Today, MJV plays full alt-rock sets or unplugged style acoustic jams depending on the mood of the event.
